New tax measures regarding accommodations in Osaka.
Please be informed that the accommodation tax system will be changed from June 1st 2019 in Osaka prefecture.
Thereafter guests will be asked to pay taxes upon checking in.
The amount depends on room rates per person;
＜from June 1st, 2019＞
7,000JPY to 14,999JPY : 100JPY tax fee
15,000JPY to 19,999JPY : 200JPY tax fee
20,000JPY or more : 300JPY tax fee
